Madison An attempt to put regular gasoline made of 10% ethanol in pumps throughout Wisconsin died in the state Senate on Thursday.

During a long day and night of action on numerous bills, senators approved a package of rules that would limit the size of piers and boat shelters, as well as measures that would impose a nighttime speed limit of 55 mph for snowmobiles, transfer 12,000 acres of land to the Department of Natural Resources, and expand the Family Care program.
