The planned renovation of a Shorewood apartment building will receive nearly $200,000 in financial assistance from the village, whose officials say the project will help improve the area along N. Oakland Ave. near the Shorewood-Milwaukee border.
The five-story Lakewood Building, 3575 N. Oakland Ave., will undergo renovations beginning in early 2008, with construction to be completed in 2010. The building has 44 apartments and 7,500 square feet of street-level retail space.See the full content of this document
