Preliminary data released by the FBI on Monday confirmed what Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn has noted through much of his first year in the city: Crime diminished in 2008.
Nationwide, law enforcement reported a decrease of 2.5% in the number of violent crimes reported in 2008, compared with 2007, according to the agency's data taken from Uniform Crime Reports.See the full content of this document
