Storm Team 4; Mild, Overcast Days Set 2 Winter Records

Summary

This winter has been rather unusual, with two records set that concern consecutive days of one type of weather.

The first was a record for days with overcast skies in Milwaukee that was set in January, at 17 straight. The record ended Jan. 10 when sunny skies broke through. But at the same time, another record of consecutive days was being established. The period from Dec. 22 through Feb. 17 was a winter record for consecutive days with high temperatures above 30 degrees. A total of 57 days broke the old record of 31 straight days set the winter of 1931-'32.
