They watched the Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings, 34-31.

Many fans stayed at Lambeau Field to watch the University of Wisconsin marching band, but Lubar and Simon decided to leave. They moved easily through a thin crowd.

As they walked past concession stands, a young man ran by, brushing Simon. "I remember seeing the guy running away. I could see him running through the crowd, and I looked over and saw Elliot on the ground. Flat on his back," Simon says.
