Waukesha -- A 15-year-old boy accused of starting the fire that caused nearly $3 million damage last week at the Burlington Coat Factory store in Brookfield was charged Thursday with arson and retail theft in a delinquency petition filed in Waukesha County Juvenile Court.
Prosecutors also filed a petition seeking to have the Milwaukee youth tried as an adult in the case. Juvenile Court Judge Patrick C. Haughney is scheduled to hold a hearing on the request Monday.See the full content of this document
