Franklin Over the steady beating of drums, ancient Indian chants filled the cavernous grand entry of the almost-finished Indian Community School on Friday during a cornerstone-laying ceremony to celebrate the new structure and all the hard work that went into making it a reality.

First lady Jessica Doyle described the new school as a "sparkling edifice" that will tie Wisconsin's past to its future. Franklin Mayor Tom Taylor called it a "world-class facility" that will put Franklin on the map.
