Jean Trimborn Bluhm enjoys family, friends, her antiques and the busy life she shares with her husband.

In a custom-designed house on two acres in Mequon, set back from a quiet road, she surrounds herself with pieces of her past. They also are pieces of Milwaukee's past, for she is the great-great- granddaughter of Werner Trimborn, a Prussian immigrant who around 1850 purchased what is now the site of Trimborn Farm, a Milwaukee County historic site.
