The Prometheus Trio, created eight years ago as a resident ensemble at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, is now a fixture on Milwaukee's chamber music scene. Pianist Stefanie Jacob and cellist Scott Tisdel, Prometheans from the start, will be back in 2008-'09, as will Timothy Klabunde, the trio's violinist since the 2005-'06 season.

Their repertoire next season will tilt slightly more than usual toward newer music, including a work by Milwaukee composer Jason Seed. In addition to its usual season at the conservatory, the Prometheus Trio will give its first full concert at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield.
