Ashwaubenon UW-Milwaukee coach Bruce Pearl warned that his team's rematch with UW-Green Bay would be nothing like the original, an 86-56 blowout in Milwaukee.

Much to his chagrin, he was correct. In a game played before an energized Resch Center crowd of 8,072, the largest gathering in the Horizon League this season and the second-largest home crowd in UW- Green Bay history, the Phoenix emerged, 76-72.
