Oconomowoc - An expanded freeway interchange needed for a proposed large shopping center at Pabst Farms is important to both the county and Wisconsin economies, and the state should help pay for it, Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas said Wednesday.

He also said the county, city and Town of Summit, where the new I- 94/Sawyer Road interchange will be located, would work with the state to find a way to pay for the construction work, which could cost an estimated $20 million.
