Today's Tmj4 Weather Plus; We've Already Had a Season's Worth of Snow

Summary

Let it snow! As of Sunday afternoon, Milwaukee had received 52.2 inches of snow. That is significant for two reasons. First, it is 20 inches above normal up to this point in the season and second, it is the amount of snow we usually receive the entire winter season. We still have February, March, April and sometimes May to go through yet. So if we do not get another flake of snow, this winter will go down as a normal snowfall.

The average snowfall from today until the end of May is 22.5 inches. If we receive normal snowfall for the rest of this snow season, Milwaukee will end up with 74.7 inches. Cedarburg and Waukesha will end up with 84.5 inches. The problem is that we have not been normal up to this point, so it is easy to assume we will end up with more than 75 inches of snow . . . time will tell.
