North Shore residents are fretting a bit over traffic at the busy Port Washington Road/Silver Spring Drive intersection, but there's no doubt this is an exciting development. And only the latest in Glendale, which has remade itself over the past decade. The city agreed to a $42 million special taxing district to fund public improvements and help jump- start the $300 million renovation. Seems like a good risk.
