The Humane Society of the United States and other wildlife protection groups say they will challenge a decision by the federal government to remove the gray wolf from protections of the Endangered Species Act.
The groups said it was premature to delist the wolf, saying that wolves have returned to only parts of the Great Lakes states and that the states need to produce sound management plans before protections are removed.See the full content of this document
