Georgia Thompson, the state Department of Administration official accused of illegally steering a state travel contract toward a company whose top executives donated $20,000 to Gov. Jim Doyle, has pleaded not guilty to the two felony charges.

Prosecutors have not asked Thompson to cooperate in bringing down her bosses, her attorney, Stephen Hurley, said after a brief hearing Friday in federal court in Milwaukee.
